The Council has decided to award medal and cash awards to the following students as per provision of the donors.

Medal and Awards 2023-2024

Dr. J. Sen Memorial Medal : Dr. J.Sen Memorial Medal has been awarded to Smt. Dhrubaa Roy Chowdhury who stood First in the B.Sc. (Hons.) Examination in Botany, University of Calcutta, 2023.

Prof. H.L.Chakraborty Memorial Award : Smt. Aastha Shromona and Smt. Ankita Mondal have been awarded Prof. H.L.Chakraborty cash award for securing First and Second position respectively in the M.Sc. examination in Botany, University of Calcutta, 2023.

Dr. Prabir Chatterjee Memorial Award : Smt. Dhrubaa Roy Chowdhury and Smt. Saptadwipa Dey have been awarded Dr. Prabir Chatterjee Memorial cash award for securing First and Second position respectively in the B.Sc. (Hons.) examination in Botany, University of Calcutta 2023.

Prof. Tarachand Nandi Memorial Award : This awarded was instituted by a donation from Prof. Balen Nandi, University of Burdwan and an Alumnus, University of Calcutta as a mark of respect to his late father. This award is for students securing 1st class 1st and 2nd position in Botany (Hons.) Examination, University of Calcutta. Smt. Dhrubaa Roy Chowdhury and Smt. Saptadwipa Dey have been awarded for securing First and Second position respectively in the B.Sc. (Hons.) examination in Botany, University of Calcutta, 2023.
